Dr Loukia Tzavella, MSc, PhD, AFHEA

Psychologist • Open Science Advocate • Educator & Coach

Hi, I’m Loukia! 👋

I’m a psychologist, researcher, and educator working at the intersection of cognitive neuroscience, open science, and neurodiversity-affirming practice.

My research explores the behavioural and neural mechanisms behind how we make decisions—particularly around food cognition and habits—while advocating for transparent, reproducible science.

Beyond research, I am passionate about inclusive pedagogy, student mentoring, and supporting ADHD and neurodivergent adults to thrive.

Overall, as a psychologist and educator/coach, my goal is simple: making psychological science robust, accessible, and compassionate. 🧠✨

Take a look at my research, teaching portfolio, or get in touch if you'd like to chat about research reproducibility or inclusive education.
