To ensure that the next generation of researchers is trained in the highest methodological standards, my pedagogical research focuses on embedding open and reproducible science directly into higher education.

This scholarship evaluates the practical and educational effectiveness of incorporating study preregistration into undergraduate and postgraduate dissertation workflows.

By developing open-access lesson plans, teaching resources, and collaborative student project models, I work to make transparent research practices a core, accessible pillar of modern psychological education and MSc conversion delivery.

Importantly, while the benefits of open science are recognised, the barriers to the adoption of certain practices in higher education should not be ignored.

For this reason, my advocacy and public engagement activities focused on early career researchers and the challenges they face in the current ‘publish or perish’ environment in academia.
